Signs of the Times

1. We are having a BABY! (for all of you who didn't already know) We are so excited and can't wait until our little bundle joins our family in July. I'm 14 weeks now and everything is looking great. At our last doctor's appointment I had an ultrasound and got to see it's little butt and 2 long legs stretching out. It's so incredible to think that I'm growing another person inside of me.

2. We have decided to make it a tradition to see the lights at temple square the Monday before Christmas. They are always so beautiful and it was so nice to go with Kier and then be able to just go home and relax. (I still think that the best part of marriage is not having to say goodnight at different houses. I love coming home with my sweet husband)

3. We had 4 christmas's this year. I'm sure they weren't as comical as the movie with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon but they were fun for us. We had our own little christmas at home on Christmas Eve morning. We woke up and had fruit smoothies while we were opening presents, then made a big breakfast. It was so fun to spend Christmas with eachother, especially since this was our first and last Christmas just the two of us. Then we went to Christmas at Kier's family's, my family's, and Kier's dads.

4. School starts again tomorrow. Another semester has passed and we have one more to go before our baby gets here. The hardest thing will just be staying focused on school as my belly grows and we can start feeling it move more. We are just so excited and this semester is really only a way to keep our mind off the countdown for a couple months.

5. We are still madly and love and enjoying every minute of being married. I can't believe it has almost been a year. It seems like so much has happened and we have both grown so much. It's so comforting to think that this is just the beginning of our lives and that we still have so much to learn from each other. I'm so grateful to be the wife of such a wonderful man and for the chance to start a family with him. I'm so excited to see what 2010 holds in store for our growing family!
