Memorial Weekend

We just got back from one of my favorite family vacations. My uncle has the most awesome river houses right on the Colorado River and he invited us up for Memorial Day Weekend. This year we had a record attendance of 33 people and that was still missing 2 families. I wasn't allowed to go in the water under Doctor's orders but I did enjoy watching Kieran and the rest of the family having fun. I got some great pics! Thanks Uncle Scott and Aunt Debbie!

Kieran and my very pregnant self...only 5 more weeks!

Kieran tried to throw Jakob into the water, unfortunately he picked someone who actually knows how to wrestle, guess who actually ended up in the water?

This is one of my favorite shots of Jimmy, Danny, Jakob, David and Kieran jumping off the dock. Suprisingly the verdict came back and most people's favorite activity was just jumping off the dock into the water. Who would have thought you could entertain a bunch a boys with so little?

Kieran on his first jet ski ride. He did great, only throwing Jake and himself in the water once. LOL This was one of his favorite activities. I begged him to take me for a ride but he's a stickler!

Kieran making a graceful dive into the water with Samantha watching. The water was so beautiful and they loved playing in it!

I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it!!

The beautiful nursery we have set up for Becca. Kieran has been so good helping me with everything from painting to assembling to hanging. I sure do love and appreciate him!

These are just some of the clothes we have for our baby girl so far. We have been so blessed to have been given lots of hand-me-downs to start her off:)
These adorable little things were given to me as a gift from the wonderful Sally who worked in our office for the past couple months. I'm sad to see her go but now have something to remember her by. Becca will look so cute in them, I can't wait to put them on her little baby feet!
We are down to only 6 weeks before our little girl is set to arrive and we are counting down each day. I almost wish that I still had school to keep me busy so the days would go faster...almost. ;) Both Kieran and I are working full time now and saving everything we can for when we will go down to just one income. My parents have been so wonderful and have let us move in with them to help us save some money. We've been here about a month and are enjoying being close to family. Becca's room is almost complete, Kieran is going to refinish a rocking chair for me and after I have some baby showers I hope to have more of the baby essentials like a carseat and stroller.
I have to think I have had one of the easiest pregnancies, I have not thrown up once and have loved feeling her grow and kick inside my belly. However, now that she is so big I get to enjoy heartburn every night and waking up at least 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom. Of course, when she finally decides to come I will still be waking up multiple times a night but I hope the heartburn will subside.
For now my weeks pass with the excitment for the weekend. This weekend is memorial day and my whole family will be going to my uncle's beautiful river house on the Colorado River. Then I have 2 Saturday's in a row with baby showers. After that I will have to find more to look forward to as we continue to count down the weeks. But we're finally to the end and we are both just so excited we can hardly contain it, Kieran will be such a good daddy, I can't wait for her to be placed in his arms for the first time, she is going to love him so much!!
